Ingredients:
2 8oz packages of Cream Cheese
2 C butter
2 C sugar
3 tsp vanilla
4 C flour- may need a little more
What to do:
- Bake at 350F to 360F depending on your oven and altitude. Bake 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
- Mix cream cheese, butter, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy. Gradually add the flour little by little until all is mixed in. Begin filling your cookie press with dough and follow instructions based on the cookie press you have. The dough can be very soft so pressing out the cookies may be a little difficult at times. Also we enjoy pressing out a rack of cookies and then putting them in the fridge while we wait for the ones in the oven to finish baking.
** recipe is already doubled, if you decide you want to make a huge batch and double this, warning it will not fit in a stand mixer and gets really hard to mix with hand mixer! May have to just make two separate batches.
This recipe is from a very old friend of the family who is no longer with us. So I dedicate this delicious cookie recipe to my Aunt Louise.
