Strawberry Poppers

You will need:

* 1/2 ripe banana
* 2 oz Dannon light and fit vanilla greek yogurt (about half of the individual cups)
* 8 Strawberries
* Almond Slivers
* 5 minutes :)

First, hollow out your strawberries. Cut off the stems and carefully cut away the middle white portion of the strawberry. Put in fridge until you are ready to fill.

Mix together your yogurt and banana. I just use a fork but you could use a mixer if that's easier or making a bigger batch. Mix until mixture becomes creamy.

Using a kitchen spoon scoop your mixture into your strawberries and top with the almonds.

*word of caution, if you allow this mixture to get too warm it will get runny and be hard to handle. If you find yourself in this position. I advise you to refrigerate the mixture for about 15 minutes. As you can see in my last picture the mixture was starting to get runny.

* This yummy treat is best enjoyed when eaten right away.

To make this even better, you will be happy to know for all 8 of these strawberry poppers there is only 150 calories (200 calories if you used nutella), so enjoy every finger licking bite!

Having an oober sweet tooth? Try adding 1 tsp of nutella to the mixture for a perfect blend of chocolate, hazelnut and vanilla. yum. (picture courtesy of the wonderful Shea)
