1/2 C cream cheese, 4oz
1 C sugar
2/3 C brown sugar
2 eggs room temp
1tsp vanilla
1 1/4 C all purpose flour
1 1/4 C white whole wheat flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
For outside of cookie;
2 TBL sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
What to do:
- Preheat oven to 300 F.
- Combine butter, cream cheese, sugars, eggs, and vanilla with a mixer.
- In a separate bowl mix flours, salt, cream of tartar, and baking soda. Gradually add dry mix into wet mix in mixer until soft dough forms. Shape dough into 2 inch balls.
- Mix extra sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
-Roll dough in sugar cinnamon mixture.
- Place on baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake 12-14 minutes. The cookies may seem a little undercooked, but do not bake longer. Cool on baking rack.
