Salted Chocolate Chip Cookies

Wednesday, October 30, 2013

Ingredients:

2 1/2 sticks butter
1 C sugar
1 C brown sugar packed
2 1/2 eggs
** ( I cut this recipe in half it called for 5, I did do 5 eggs in a measuring cup and dump half in)
1/2 Tbl vanilla
1/2 tsp corn starch
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 C white flour
1 1/2 C white whole wheat flour
2 C semi sweet chocolate chips
sea salt for top

What to do:

Cream together butter and sugars, about 2 min until creamy and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until mixed well. In a separate bowl mix all dry ingredient and add in to wet mixture a little at a time until fully incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips. Refrigerate over night. Preheat oven to 350, bake cookies for 10-12 minutes. 2 minutes before they come out, I would sprinkle the sea salt on top of each cookie and put them back in the oven for the last minute or two. Feel free to do it like this, or just add the sea salt on top when the cookies come out of the oven. Cool on wire rack. and Enjoy!
