What you need:
2 eggs
3-6 C strong coffee
2 pkgs lady fingers
1 lb (16 oz) Mascropone Cheese
1/3 C sugar
Cocoa powder ( green and blacks or Ghirardelli
8X8 glass pan
egg whites stiff peaks |
What to do:
Combine sugar and egg YOLKS. Then add cheese and mix thoroughly. In a separate bowl beat egg WHITES til stiff peaks form. Gently fold egg WHITES into cheese mixture.
How to put it together;
Dip lady fingers in coffee (barley dip them, DO NOT dip to long they soak up the coffee so fast!) Layer them on the bottom of the glass pan then top with a layer of the cheese mixture and end with sprinkled cocoa and shaved chocolate, REPEAT this layering ending with cocoa and shaved chocolate.
Refrigerate 4 hours
