1lb Siroloin steak cut into 3/4 inch thick1C Balsamic rosemary marinade * see BRM recipe below
6C arugula or I used spinach and some of my favorite salad stuff
1/4 C crumbled blue cheese ( I used feta)
Balsamic Rosemary Marinade-
In a bowl, mix together 1C balsamic vinegar, 3/4 C olive oil,1/4C raw honey,2tbsp chopped fresh rosemary ( i only had dried and seem to work fine), 1tbsp or more of garlic powder, 2tsp sea salt, 1tsp black pepper. I also put in a clove or two of fresh garlic in as well.
Directions:
- Put your steak in a zip lock and add your marinade. Put it in the fridge for 2-6 hours
Heat your grill to med-high. Pat dry steak from marinade and put on the grill. Grill approx. 4 min per side for medium rare or to your liking. Remove from Grill and cover with foil for 5 min. DONT skip this part its important.
- Cut steak diagonally into slices and put onto the 'greens' you chose, arugula or other. Drizzle with the juices of the cut steak ( very important and really gives the salad a great flavor) and top with Cheese.
